Whisk(e)y Review/ Whiskey Del Bac - Classic

American Single Malt out of Arizona? Is it any good? Yes, yes it is…

Color - Gold with hues of red

Nose - Rich oak, cherries, nutmeg, vanilla extract, dry maltiness and spiciness. Slight nuttiness, toasted wood and somehow old wood workshop also. The nose is nicely complex and deep with flavours.

Palate - Oak, richness, sweet but still that vanilla extract, caramel, spiciness definitely follows through but it’s not a bitey, a little red wine esc. Its got barrel tannins for sure (thank you Arizona desert) like charred wood. Orange zest, cherries and a slight hint of some nuttiness, maybe a little waxy too?

Finish - Medium/long with a lingering aftertaste which is good. Its ends just so softly with no pepperiness attacking. This drinks easy…

Notes: If you ever have the chance to grab this bottle (or anyone from Del Bac) I would highly recommend you do so. If you like American Single Malt whiskies of course.

Score - 7.8/10
