2021 Aston Martin DBS Superleggera

When anyone takes their first look at any Aston Martin, it is certainly a car that they keep in their minds for a long time. Sure, a Lamborghini, or Ferrari are always amazing to see, but there has always been something about Aston Martin that makes them stick out from the crowd. Especially when it comes to a model like the DBS Superleggera.

Aston Martin, in the recent years have done nothing but improve, whether that be in quality, or appeal, Aston have built absolutely incredible machines in the last decade. When it comes to the DBS Superleggera, they have managed to keep the Aston Martin appeal, but gave it that extra oomph that they needed. The DBS Superleggera has a bold build but is complimented with beautiful round lines and an elongated hood. Also, available now is the DBS Superleggera Volante (also known as convertible).

Under the hood, we find a 5.2-litre Twin Turbo V12 making 715hp and 664 lb-ft of torque. In a GT car, this is without question enough to ruffle anyone’s feathers, and allow you to make a long road trip go by very quickly. This beautifully massive V12 is connected via a carbon drive shaft, to a ZF 8-speed transmission mounted in the rear of the car, which allows for great weight distribution and more room in the driver and passenger footwell. 

Though, the Aston is fast, (and no one is arguing that) it might make you want to slowdown. The comfort level in the Aston, is on a new level. With the beautiful leather seats, and the option to put the top down, why wouldn’t you want to slow down and take in all the sights?

Aston has put a lot of emphasis on the Volante aspect of the DBS, making sure that whether the top up, or down, the passengers in the car would be able to enjoy their experience. The convertible top is made up of eight layers of material, making sure when it is up, it will be nearly as soundproof at its hard top variant.
